Czechs & Changes:
How to do "it" well and smartly

Reactions to change can often be negative, and this is completely natural.

Our instinctive reaction to the unknown stems from the deeply rooted survival of our ancestors, where any unknown could pose a threat.

This “fight or flight” mechanism can still cause us stress today when we face uncertainty or new situations. It is important to understand that this first impulse is not something we should avoid or suppress. It is part of our psychological equipment that protects us.

It is important to understand that this first impulse is not something we should avoid or suppress; it is part of our psychological equipment that protects us.

Although our first reaction is rejection, with a little effort and the right approach, we can overcome it and learn to see changes as opportunities for growth. It is important that we can learn to recognize how we react to changes, learn from past experiences, and create a supportive environment that helps us accept changes and adapt to them more effectively.

Change can be really scary, but also necessary for personal and professional growth. Exploring new approaches and strategies to deal with it can help us transform our uncertainty into creative energy.

Request feedback

Whether from colleagues, friends, or mentors. It will help you better understand and notice your attitude and often reveal what is hidden from your eyes.

Mindset is everything

Adopting an open approach to change leads through conscious and intentional focusing of attention on change. This is the only way we can overcome dysfunctional patterns.

Start with small steps

You don’t have to run into the unknown right away. Instead, start with small steps that will help you gradually achieve bigger changes.

Before the change:

Jana was a person who resisted change. She felt fear and uncertainty during them, which led her to close herself off from new opportunities. This attitude hindered her personal and professional growth.

After the change:

Then she attended a workshop where I learned that change can be an opportunity for growth and innovation. She learned to recognize and overcome psychological barriers and accept changes with an open mind.

“I can proudly say today that I am a person who is not afraid of change. I welcome them as opportunities. The ability to adapt has brought me not only better work results, but also increased my overall satisfaction and self-confidence. I am constantly learning new things and accepting the challenges that life brings me with a smile.
